Becoming a Member

In order to participate in our competitions and be eligible for points and trophies, all competitors are required to be members of both the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (SSAA) and SSAA United Field and Retrieving Branch (UFR). New members are permitted to compete in 3 trials before they are required to hold the appropriate memberships. On completion of the above and receipt of your membership from SSAA you become eligible to apply for a membership of the SSAA United Field and Retrieving Branch. If you are already a member of SSAA we encourage you to transfer your membership from your current branch to the SSAA United Field and Retrieving Branch Q73.

Our Membership Fees are $15.00 per calendar year per person (or $20.00 for a couple) and due for renewal prior to our AGM in July each year.

To become a member, or renew your membership to SSAA United Field and Retrieving Branch, either fill out the online form above, or print out the printable pdf membership form and post with your payment to: The Treasurer, SSAA United Field and Retrieving Branch, 14 Johnson Street, Kallangur Q 4503.

Rule Book

Of course, as in any sport, we follow a Code of Conduct and Rule Book. Please click on this link to view our online RULE BOOK.

Our club prides itself on fairness and equality in our sport under the SSAA, and if you feel that any person/member/judge or official at any of our competitions has not acted accordingly or within their obligations, we ask that you approach one of our executive immediately.

It is of vital importance, and the betterment of our sport, that any issues that may arise are dealt with swiftly, however we can only do this with your help.
